Alexandra Vidić

I come from Bratislava. I graduated from the Secondary Industrial School of Clothing in Bratislava, department of fashion design. I got into hats completely by an accident. In 2018, I received an invitation to a traditional Spanish wedding in Seville, Spain, where the Dress Code was "Hat". Since I couldn't find anything suitable on the Internet, I started looking for materials and finally made my first fascinator myself. I fell in love with this craft, that's why I wanted to improve it at all costs, so I completed a course in Prague in the same year. Another four years of training in different techniques and working with different materials followed. This year I completed a course at the prestigious "Central Saint Martins University" in London. I founded the fashion brand Alexis Vidic' Millinery in 2019. I mainly focused on the production of hats and fascinators in the English (royal) and French style. Hats and fascinators from my workshop are especially suitable for festive events such as weddings, christenings, but also horse polo/derby.
